Surprise Announcement!

We have some very exciting news to share...


We're having a baby!!! And we just found out last week that it is a little girl. I am the happiest I've ever been and sometimes I have to pinch myself because I still feel like it's a dream. 

This morning I was standing in her room and looking outside the window. I saw beautiful flowers right in front of me, a field of cows to my right, and a coop full of happy chickens to my left. I am so thrilled that our baby will be growing up in this environment with nature all around. We can't wait to teach her about this homesteading life and I hope that she will grow to love it as much as we do.

    I am so glad for the three of you. It will be a great place for her to grow up in. If for any reason you decide it is too crowded on the farm and need to make a bit of space, I wil gladly come and get Emma. Just in the off-chance, you know. It's better better to speak up before someone else does.

    I am so excited for you! My sweet baby girl is now 4 and she loves to help with the chickens, the flowers and the veggie garden. All in the city! But she is a hiker, a skier, and a ballet dancer. And she loves it all because we do. Congratulations.

    Congratulations Mama...a book suggestions from a Mama of three... Back Labor No More by Janine McCoy King. I used her lift method two out of the three times and I wish I used it the first time! The lift really works if baby is in the right position so make sure you are where you want to be for birthing before your try.
